The guarana plant is a tropical climbing shrub belonging to the soapberry family, native to the Amazon basin. Indigenous peoples have used the red fruits and their caffeine-rich seeds for centuries as a natural tonic for endurance and focus.

Guarana seeds are known for their extremely high content of natural caffeine (guaranine). Unlike coffee, the caffeine here is bound to tannins. As a result, it is released slowly by the body, ensuring a long-lasting, steady effect without the typical "coffee crash". Pure guarana powder is therefore particularly popular during mental and physical exertion.

Our guarana powder consists of 100% gently dried seeds. Since it is a pure natural product, it has a characteristically tart and bitter taste.

Guarana powder readily absorbs moisture from the air, which can cause the powder to clump slightly. It is recommended to always store the powder tightly sealed and in a dry place.

How to use Guarana Powder
Guarana powder is a stimulating addition to many beverages and is highly versatile. Due to its tart flavor, it is rarely dissolved in plain water, but is ideally stirred into sweet or creamy liquids. It blends perfectly into smoothies, fruit juices, cocoa, milk and plant-based drinks (e.g., almond or oat milk), or your morning shake. It can also be wonderfully combined with muesli or yogurt.

Recommended dosage: 1/2 (approx. 2 g) to 1 teaspoon (approx. 4 g) per day. In water or in shakes, fruit juices, smoothies, tea, cocoa, muesli, porridge, or in mixes for power bars and baked goods.
