“Deliciously Dangerous”
Nettle can be used to prepare a mild tea that fits perfectly into the spring season. The leaves are infused with boiling water, and after 5 to 10 minutes, a greenish, delicately flavored tea develops.
Nettle belongs to the nettle family and grows on nutrient-rich soils, preferably near human habitation, along fences, and in gardens. It can grow up to one meter tall. The leaves and stems are covered with stinging hairs whose tips break off upon contact.
