Family Tradition

We are a family business, led by tradition and shaped by the Barandun family, and all employees are aware of this family tradition.

Origin

In 1951, pharmacist Roman Barandun opened his first pharmacy in Chur. He put a lot of heart and soul into it, so that the enthusiasm for pharmacy also passed on to his son Johannes. In 1988, Johannes took over the Zentrums Pharmacy in Buchs/SG. This was followed by gradual expansion with further pharmacies and drugstores in the regions of Zurich, St. Gallen, Glarus, Schwyz, and Graubünden.

Today

Today, the Pill Group has more than a dozen businesses and benefits from the synergies created. Today, the strength of Pill Pharmacies & Drugstores lies in complementary medicine, and we are continuously expanding our expertise in this area.
