Tempeh is a product made from soybeans, fermented with selected cultures, and naturally high in protein. Our tempeh is allowed to ferment for an extended period. When pan-fried until crispy, it develops a nutty flavor and pairs well with almost any familiar dish.

It tastes slightly nutty with a subtle earthy mushroom finish and has a firm texture. Pan-fried as “croutons” on salads or soups, marinated for burgers or skewers, in wraps, baked in the oven as tempeh fries or chips, in curry, Pad Thai, chili con tempeh, as a protein-rich spread, in morel sauce, or in porcini mushroom risotto.

Tempeh is a versatile ingredient in the kitchen! You can cube or slice it, grate it finely, or chop it. Pan-fried in a little oil until golden and crispy, tempeh can be used in a wide variety of dishes, for example as a salad or soup topping, as a sandwich filling, in sauces, casseroles, bowls, wraps, and much more.
