Indulgence powered by science: VEGCAT SKINCARES set new standards in snack innovation. A carefully formulated combination of valuable Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids from algae oil alongside essential Biotin and Vitamin E supports the natural skin barrier and promotes a silky, shiny coat.
In addition, we added taurine – essential among other things for your cat's heart function and eyesight.
The SKINCARES contain 20% fermentation protein – a forward-looking, resource-saving protein source produced through the fermentation of microorganisms. With over 60% protein content in the raw material, it offers maximum efficiency with minimal environmental impact – smart, sustainable, and scientifically designed.
The recipe is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for sensitive cats. Since fermentation protein is a completely new type of bacterial protein, allergies and cross-reactions are extremely unlikely. For comparison: among the most common food allergens in cats are beef (18%), fish (17%), and chicken (5%)* – all proteins deliberately omitted from SKINCARES. This results in a snack perfectly tailored to selective, sensitive cats – using an innovative protein source that specifically avoids allergen potential.
Many conventional pet foods rely on inorganic phosphates such as sodium hexametaphosphate or phosphoric acid – substances that can increase palatability but may cause scientifically documented kidney damage and other health strains. At VEGDOG, we deliberately avoid all inorganic phosphorus additives in our snacks.

Storage Store VEGCAT Pure Bites in a cool, dry place. After opening, reseal tightly to prevent drying out.
