The family company's story began in Milan, where Angelo Vergani established a small pastry shop. At the heart of Vergani panettone is its original natural sourdough starter, carefully maintained since the company's founding and refreshed three times a day. Preparing a traditional panettone takes approximately 72 hours, resulting in its characteristic soft, airy texture and delicate aroma. Carefully selected ingredients, including Italian candied orange peel, Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar and fine chocolate, contribute to its distinctive taste.
