These delicious pumpkin rolls are a real treat for the taste buds and the perfect snack straight from the oven.

Recipe for 9 rolls – by Matea

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by mixing it with 1 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp flour and lukewarm water.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. In a separate bowl, blend the cooked pumpkin, plant-based milk and oil using a hand blender. Now combine the dry and wet ingredients and add the activated yeast. Knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Leave the dough to rest, covered, for 50 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 9 pieces on a floured surface and shape them into balls. Now use an uncoloured, plastic-free string and tie it around each roll 6 times.
  5. Leave the rolls to rise again, covered, on the baking tray for a further 10 minutes and preheat the oven to 200°C (fan).
  6. Bake the rolls for 18–20 minutes. Leave to cool briefly, remove the string and enjoy!
