Make your own vegan yogurt – easy & without electricity!

Who doesn’t love fresh, creamy yogurt? It tastes even better when you make it yourself – completely vegan and without electricity. With the My.Yo yogurt maker, it’s incredibly easy.

Add the soy drink and yogurt starter to the white inner container and mix well. Then pour 750 ml of boiling water into the yogurt maker.

Place the inner container into the yogurt maker and close the lid.

Now it’s time to wait: let it rest for 12–14 hours. Once ready, refine your fresh yogurt with fruits or other toppings as desired.

⚠️ Important note

The yogurt starter is specifically designed for soy drink.
Other plant-based drinks such as almond, oat, or rice drinks do not work reliably according to the manufacturer.

💡 Tips for perfect yogurt

  • Always use boiling water for the optimal temperature.
  • Use a high-quality soy drink (e.g. Alpro or Soyana).
  • The soy drink should be at room temperature.
  • Yogurt too runny? → Extend the fermentation time or repeat the process.
  • For firmer yogurt: use only about 900 ml soy drink.

🔁 Reusing yogurt (backslopping)

You can reuse your homemade yogurt to make new batches:

  • Mix 100–150 ml of finished yogurt with 1 liter of soy drink
  • Pour into the container and prepare as described above
  • Let it ferment for 12–14 hours

You can repeat this process several times – practical and sustainable!
